SSFP Membership Council Endorses 16-week Maternity Leave for Clinic Staff

A meeting of SSFP’s Membership Council (MC) was held on May 07, 2012 in SSFP’s Conference Room. The objectives of the meeting were to review policy issues of the network, share performance of the network and strategies for close out. Mr. Al Husainy, Charman of Swanirvar Bangladesh, chaired the session. The contact persons of SSFP partnering NGOs and representatives from SSFP attended the meeting.

At the beginning of the meeting, to strengthen the executive leadership of the network, Mr. Ranjan Karmaker of Steps Towards Development, made a presentation on ‘Gender and Gender Responsive Organization.’ MC representatives actively participated in this discussion. Through SSFP’s baseline needs assessment of the institutional capacity of network NGOs, gender was identified as an area of focus for future capacity building.

SSFP Holds Grants ‘Close Out’ Workshop   LATEST >>

SSFP conducted a ‘Close Out’ workshop on 23-25 April 2012 at Spectra Convention Center to prepare for closing the current grant agreement. NGO Project Directors, Finance and Admin Mangers and Accounts Officers participated in the workshop facilitated by SSFP’s Grants.The workshop included discussions on budget revision (Oct – Sept’2012), budget monitoring, grant agreement modification, equipment disposition plans, and documentation and record keeping. From May 2012, MFRR and Performance Report will be submitted by all NGOs on or before 10th of the following month. NGOs will also submit updated inventory lists along with the MFRR on the 10th of every month.
