The Membership Council Directorate endorsed a new strategic
partnership with Space Race, a subsidiary of the Transcom Group, in which 272
LCD screens will be placed in the Smiling Sun clinics to deliver relevant health
messages to its clients. This activity has the potential for revenue generation
through infotainment and selling advertising solutions that was proposed to
Smiling Sun because of the sheer size of its network. The endorsement came at
the first meeting of the newly formed Membership Council on January 11, 2009 at
SSFP Conference Room. Alhaj Mohammad Fazlul Haque, Contact Person of JTS,
Iftekhar U Chowdhury, Contact Person of IMAGE, and Md. Hafizul Islam, Contact
Person of FDSR were present with Juan Carlos Negrette, COP of SSFP in the chair.
